Yesterday Cafe in Rutledge

We love eating at Yesterday's! Although wait time can sometimes be long, the food is excellent and the service is great. Small town feel and friendly servers.

We had a family function here. We loved the food and the staff went out of the way to make us happy. They even stayed late and didn't rush us out the door when the event ran a little long We will be back.

We love this neighborhood staple cafe. It's rustic in all of the best ways. Real sweet tea, fabulous service, tasty food. Great for lunch or dinner.

Well - the "Specials" menu read Grilled Whitefish with 2 sides for 13.99The regular menu read 2 Whitefish Fillets grilled, fried or blackened for 11.99.I asked the waitress what the difference was, she didn't know and said order from the menu its cheaper. So I did.About 10 minutes after I ordered she came back and said "Oh, the regular menu is 2 tilapia fillets"So if you go, don't trust the menu, and I didn't get the tilapia, its bad for ya. And they did Not offer to make it right. They Need to Change the Menu to reflect this mistake.

Solid place to eat, great service, and enjoy the fresh vegetables.

Friday meal was delicious, great ribs. Saturday not so much. Fish sandwich on a hot dog bun and overnight got ill. my better half brought her bun home for the four-legged kids and we noticed that there was mold inside the bun. Skimpy piece of fish on a hot dog bun that was moldy might want to check your food if you ever dine in there.

Nice little restaraunt. Went for breakfast after a morning of hunting. The coffee and breakfast bowl warmed me up, after a cold morning on the deer stand! Staff was Very friendly and the food was delicious. Will go back soon.

This is a lovely place with friendly people and very middle-of-the-road food. I had the fried fish fillets, garlic mashed potatoes, and wedge salad. The fish was nice and crisp, but bland. Mashed potatoes were good. The "wedge" salad was pitiful, just a few pieces of iceberg lettuce on a saucer. But this place is worth the trip for the buttermilk pie, which is truly excellent.

Great place to get a good lunch

First time in Rutledge brought and here and I'm glad it did. Street parking and pleasant atmosphere inside. Plenty of seating in building next door.Went with our work friends and all sampled the menu. Today's specials to local favorites it was all delicious. Service was quick and food prepared fresh.I tried the quesadilla burger and it was one of my all time favorite burgers I have ever had. Tortilla kept all the flavor and ingredients inside and infused with flavor.If I ever make it back to Rutledge for lunch I know where I will be going.

Great chef-prepared meals with friendly small town charm. Menu has a nice selection and dinners always offer chef specials. Clean spacious dining. Relatively good service (not bad, but not spectacular either). My husband and I eat here at least once a week.

Our meal was extremely salty. Upon checkout we were asked "How was everything?" We said it was quite salty and we were looked at funny with no response... Overall, it wasn't horrible, but I would suggest toning down the salt.

BLUEBERRY PANCAKES ARE THE BEST! I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL HERE.

Great Southern food, and Hospitality. Friendly servers and fast, fresh made to order option. Really recommend the southern burger; the pimento cheese and fried green tomatoe set it perfectly.

I was pleasantly surprised at that this place. The food was good. The service was also very good. It's a lot like eating home cooked food.

Food is good. A bit to pricey if you stray from the lunch specials or try to change/sub out lunch special items. With tea, about 10 or 11 dollars, sub salad makes it more like 15 buck. Lunch specials are smaller portions.

Great service. Incredibly friendly. Simple menu that focuses on the things they do well. Looks like the facilities were recently updated.
